I needed a strong support in my life…
and I found YOU – my beloved Berlin Wall!

This is my husband. His name is the Berlin Wall and he was born on August 13, 1961. I expect you’ve heard of him; he is quite a celebrity. He lives in Berlin.
I used to work in a pharmacy. Now I own a museum. My husband’s job was to divide East and West Berlin. He is retired now.

How we met:

We’ve been in love for many years. I was attracted to him ever since he was born. Yes, he is some years younger than me. But neither of us feels that this age difference matters. True love can easily transcend a few years.
It was very much a long distance romance as neither of us likes to travel. For much of the time, I had to make do with photos of him. And of course seeing him in newspapers and on the television. But the distance between us only served to intensify our feelings for each other.

Our wedding:

We eventually married on June 17, 1979 at Groß-Ziethener Straße in Berlin. On that day I took my husband’s name, Berliner-Mauer. That is "Berlin Wall" in German, which is my husband’s first language.

Now:

We have been together now for many years, spiritually if not physically. Like every married couple, we have our ups and downs. We even made it through the terrible disaster of November 9, 1989, when my husband was subjected to frenzied attacks by a mob. But we are still as much in love as the day we first met. We may not have a conventional marriage, but neither of us cares much for conventions. Ours is a story of two beings in love, our souls entwined for all eternity.

The Berlin Wall, you gave me a
meaning in life.
You, my dear, have made me so
happy.
My dear Berlin Wall, you make me
crazy of love for You!
All I want is to be close
to you.
The Berlin Wall, you are so
magnificent, You are so sexy.
I enjoy every moment I’m
together with you.
The Berlin Wall, you mean
ALL to me!

Gal? Hehe jeg dømmer ikke.

Fra telegraph.co.uk:

Mrs Berliner-Mauer, who lives in Liden, northern Sweden, said: "I find long, slim things with horizontal lines very sexy.

"The Great Wall of China’s attractive, but he’s too thick – my husband is sexier."

Om rivningen av mannen sin sa hun følgende: “What they did was awful. They mutilated my husband."
